Writing week 10

For this weeks writing we had to fix these sentences by putting describing words in them.

We had to highlight the describing words.

Molly the pup lay on the cold soft snow. She looked at the crystal blue water. It was a bright sunny day. The wind was blowing in her hair.

The gassy vehicle broomed across the road. There was a loud car waiting to cross.

The crow flew across the icy blue sky and soar through the sky past the trees. It had fluffy black wings and a pointy beak.

The bird flew across the blue sky. It had big fluffy wings and yellow eyes like sunflowers. It saw something big, and went down towards the dirty ground.

A huge red tentacle came out of the crystal clear  water. The creature had a big pink head and small blue eyes as dark as the middle of the ocean.

We also had to write a paragraph with describing words about a picture that was on the doc we had to do it on this is the picture and the paragraph.

It was an icy cold day in Southern Antarctica. There was a glowing, white polar bear on a slice of slippery ice, just off the shore of Southern Antarctica. His name was Snowy, he had drifted all the way from the freezing cold icy north pole. It was a long cold lonely ride, he dined on Sardines and Squid. When he bit into them they made a squelching sound and were really chewy since they were not cooked in a burning oven. He was so excited because he could see land that looked cold and icy. The rushing waves started pulling him faster. The ice piece was quite small now so he had to hold on tight, if he let go he would die because he cannot swim. Then he saw an iceberg.

Do you use describing words in your story's?
